Fourth Grade Writers get recognized by the Young Writer's Project

Library News from Mollie

All grades K-4 have read our first Red Clover book of the year! A rewrite of Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tale, The Little Mermaid by Jerry Pinkney was enjoyed by all. We learned about the common elements in most fairy tales, and revealed Pinckney's amazing, intense watercolor illustrations. This version had no prince and featured some interesting twists on the classic tale.

We love Red Clover books!
