November 20, 2022
We had a very busy week! On Tuesday, we had our All School Assembly for World Kindness Day. Ask your students how kindness is their superpower and what they are grateful for! Students also recognized many of their peers who have performed acts of kindness this week. The nominations from students have been pouring in and, in addition to reading some in our morning announcements, we will be displaying them on a bulletin board in the main lobby.
We hope that everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving break! Please remember that it is an Early Release on Wednesday and then we will be closed for the rest of the week.

SOUTH COOPERATIVE THEATER
South Cooperative Theater is pleased to announce our Spring 2023 Musical – Disney’s Moana Jr. Mark your calendars now – there will be three performances – March 17, 18 and 19.
Disney’s Moana Jr. is a musical adaptation of the animated film, bringing the adventures of Moana and her village of Motunui to life onstage. Moana Jr. features all the wonderful songs from the film, including “How Far I’ll Go,” “Shiny,” and “You’re Welcome.”
This thrilling and heartwarming coming-of-age story follows the strong-willed Moana as she sets sail across the Pacific to save her village and discover the truth about her heritage. Moana and the legendary demigod Maui embark on an epic journey of self-discovery and camaraderie as both learn to harness the power that lies within. With empowering messages of bravery and selflessness, Moana Jr. is sure to bring out the hero within each of us.
South School students in grades 3-4-5 are invited to audition. An information packet was emailed to families and auditions will occur the first week of December. Please contact Ms. Kennedy (firstname.lastname@example.org) with any questions.
