Do you have questions about Expected Family Contribution, Net Price Calculator, FAFSA, Common App, Financial Aid Letters, SAT/ACT Prep Resources, Early Decision, Early Action, Naviance, Test Optional Applications & Schools, College Visits, etc.?

If you do, this is a can't miss meeting for parents AND students of all grades.

Run, Hide, Fight

Midview is moving away from the ALICE response to the Run, Hide, Fight model that is consistent with the Lorain County Sheriff's Department and first responders in our area. The model is similar to ALICE but is a simplified approach.

Run

Leave your belongings behind

Evacuate as quickly as possible

Help others escape, if possible

Keep your hands visible

Call 911 when you are safe

Hide

Lock doors

Use any heavy objects to block the door

Tie off door knobs if able

Move away from the door

Call 911

Fight

This is a last resort

Attack threats in their vital areas (eyes, nose, throat, head, groin)

Use anything to distract

The safety, security and well-being of our students and staff are a priority in Midview. We hope that our utilization of Run, Hide, Fight will help to further our commitment to safety and security both in our schools and in our community.

MAP Testing Info

MAP tests are based on a continuum of skills in Mathematics and Reading, from low skill levels to high skill levels. MAP assessments help teachers identify the instructional level of the student and also provide context for determining where each student is performing in relation to local or state standards and national norms. MAP reports allow teachers to better target instruction based on students' strengths and needs.

We are happy to announce that we are bringing back the MHS Talent Show!!! This year, the talent will be held on Friday, October 28th from 6-8 in the K-Gym. Mark your calendars.
