Lost and Found Items
CCSD Districtwide Survey
The annual Districtwide Survey for parents/guardians through Friday, December 15, 2023. The survey is intended to provide information for Clark County School District (CCSD) and schools regarding progress toward CCSD priorities and to comply with the requirements of the Board of School Trustees and the Nevada Department of Education. The survey takes less than 10 minutes to complete and is a vital part of CCSD’s annual self-assessment.
Parents/Guardians are encouraged to submit their 2023–2024 Districtwide Parent/Guardian Survey online using a computer, laptop, or other mobile device at https://www.ccsd.net/survey. Any parent/guardian with children in the school is eligible to take the survey. Parents will need their child's student ID number, which can be obtained on the Infinite Campus Parent Portal.
Parent Information Meetings
The Miller Administrative Team hosts Parent Information Meetings each month via Google Meet. Our most recent meeting was on Tuesday, November 21, 2023. If you missed that meeting, the agenda from it is linked. Our next parent information meeting will be held on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 via Google Meet.
SOL T-Shirt & Hoodie Sales
Students and parents can pre-order T-shirts from the new Student Organization of Latinos (SOL). Those wishing to purchase a shirt can do so in the banker's office by December 8, 2023. T-shirts cost $20.00 and hoodies will be sold for $30.00. For more information and to view the shirt design, CLICK HERE.
Student Academic Plans
Each year, secondary students, parents/guardians, and counselors work together to develop and/or update a student’s Academic Plan. The plan should reflect the student’s interests, abilities, and goals and should include rigorous and relevant coursework/experiences. In addition, each year the plan must be approved by the parent/guardian, the student, and the school counselor. Our counselors have met with each student to develop and/or update the plan.
CLICK HERE for directions on how to approve your child's Academic Plan using your parent portal in Infinite Campus.
Please remember, this is not the exact class schedule for the student, only a road map. Students will get the opportunity to register for their exact classes in the spring of 2023.

Magnet Schools
CCSD magnet school applications are now open and the deadline for the 2024-2025 school is January 9, 2024. This begs the question....WHAT IS A MAGNET SCHOOL?
CCSD magnet schools offer learning opportunities focused on thematic instruction such as science, performing arts, and career and technical education, preparing students for postsecondary education and the workforce. The purpose of magnet programs are to improve student achievement, promote diversity, and create an awareness of career opportunities relative to the fields of study in which students may be interested.
For more information on the offerings in CCSD, access this MENU OF MAGNET SCHOOLS.

Every Day Matters Campaign
During the previous academic year, the Clark County School District (CCSD) experienced a chronic absenteeism rate of 36 percent. That means one out of every three students was absent from school 10 percent or more of enrolled days for any reason.
Why it matters: It’s an issue we must address head-on and with urgency. When students miss classroom instruction, it hurts their student success, affecting their grades and social development.
But there is encouraging news we would like to share. CCSD has launched a campaign, Every Day Matters, that will use a strategic approach to improve student attendance.
This campaign will be a communitywide effort, involving nonprofit organizations, businesses, and local governments that partner with CCSD. For us to get students to regularly attend school, however, the fact is it will depend on you and your child.
In the weeks and months ahead, our school and CCSD will be offering tips and strategies that you can use to get your child excited about going to school. If you are concerned about your child’s attendance, request a meeting with school counselors or an administrator so we can work on making progress.
