Jovial June
We talked a little more about dinosaurs during this short school week. We put glitter and glue on dinosaurs and made dinosaur feet to go on top of our shoes. Other activities included finding different toys in moon sand, receptively/expressively identifying articles of clothing, and playing a body part game. Ms. Brianna led outside structured time, during which we did the Hokey Pokey, and then played catch with the velcro mitts. With our friends from Room 4 and Room 15, we played Hi Ho Cheery O, did different stretches on the rug, and drew with chalk outside!
This week we wrapped up speech rotations and played a fishing game where we labelled a variety of actions. We finished by playing a fun Connect Four game where we put tokens on a dog's tail, pulled the tail down, and watched the token fly into the Connect Four spaces on the dog's body. During P.E., we took turns jumping on top of and under the parachute!
