Day off of School - But NOT off of Practice!
But the best part of the workout may have been the PANCAKES! Thank you to Blueberry Hill Pancake House in Homewood for catering so early in the morning to feed the boys after a long workout with pancakes, butter, syrup, powdered sugar and fruit.

We saw some other familiar faces on race day - including 2 other math teachers from HF High School, and Stewart's mom! Thank you to everyone for your help in making this another successful event for Homewood Schools and the community!

Why did you decide to join cross country this year?
To help out my fellow Vikings. Also because I love to run, I love anything that involves running and I love it.
What individual goals do you have for this season?
My individual goal is to make it to varisty, but mainly get better and quicker within every meet we have coming up

Who on the team motivates you to be better? And how do they motivate you?
The person that motivates me is Elijah Leake because he is my trainer while we run together, he is my rival because my goal is to beat him, and he is a good friend of mine who I can treat like a brother
What is your favorite part of cross country season so far this year?
My favorite part of cross country is the meets and getting to know everyone so well and just bonding boys and girls

The dunes and practices and me dropping time every meet
