Every Day Counts!
Attendance is critical to student success! One day out is equivalent to at least 2 days of lost instruction, and a loss of $55.55 in public funds for our school district. Please, keep your children at home if they are truly ill, otherwise, please make your best effort to get your children to school on time, every day! By the 6th grade, if a student continues to be chronically absent, it is a leading indicator of whether he or she will drop out of high school. Have a doctor/dental appointment? Bring them before and/or after - partial days are better than no instructional at all. Start good habits early!
