Tech Tip Tuesday Edition 14

MSD 25 Instructional Technology Team

Using Adobe CCE and/or Canva to Make Video Slides

Today's Tech Tip Tuesday will cover the following:

  • How to use Adobe Creative Cloud Express (formerly Adobe Spark) to create video slides
  • How to use Canva to create video slides

Adobe Creative Cloud Express (formerly Adobe Spark)

Adobe Creative Cloud Express (CCE for short) makes it easy for students to create succinct audio slideshow videos. Adobe CCE limits the amount of narration that students can record on each slide within their videos. Adobe CCE also includes a library of background music that students can have inserted into their videos. Finally, students can upload short audio clips to include in their audio slideshow video projects. Watch the video below for more information on using Adobe CCE to make video slides.

Canva is free and is amazing. Canva now offers a full video editor to add narration and custom timings to an audio slideshow video. The process is demonstrated in the video below. Canva also offers students the ability to work collaboratively on an animated slideshow video.
