Back to School Registration - Tuesday, August 25th (3:00-7:00pm)
Hello Dragon Families!
We will be holding our Back to School Registration on Tuesday, August 25th from 3-7pm in our school parking lot. This is a different date than what was originally planned. In order to ensure social distancing and a safe experience for all, we have assigned times to certain parts of the alphabet. Please do your best to adhere to your scheduled time.
3:00 - 4:00 : A - D
4:00 - 5:00: E - L
5:00 - 6:00: M- R
6:00 - 7:00: S - Z
REGISTRATION DETAILS
PACKET PICK UP
- Please start at the Check-In Station near the Main Entrance with Marcia and Jen to pick up your Registration Forms. Everything you need will be organized in a manilla envelope for you to take home. Each packet contains a stamped envelope for you to return your forms to school. This packet will also contain a daily schedule and a color coded sticker indicating which advisor your child has been assigned to. Some students may have a different advisor from last year. Once you pick up your packet, please find the color coded table that matches your sticker.
MEET YOUR ADVISOR
- Advisors will be stationed at color coded tables spread out across the parking lot to maintain social distancing. We encourage everyone to take a moment to say hello. Advisors are excited to see everyone again and to introduce themselves to their new students!
- If someone is already at the Advisor's Table, please practice social distancing of six feet while you wait in line.
STUDENT PICTURE AND ID
- All students are expected to get their picture taken and receive a new student ID.
- Students will line up in front of the building in a socially distanced line to wait their turn to have their photo taken.
- Students will enter the building using door #1 from the main parking lot. The photo area will be located in room 131, which is the first classroom on the right. Once students finish, they will exit the building using door #2, which is the Cherry Street exit.
- We ask that parents wait in their vehicle while students wait in line and get their photo taken. Parents can pick up their child on Cherry Street, where students will exit.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
- Masks are required for all staff and families.
- Hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes will be available.
- Staff will sanitize their areas after meeting with each family.
- All students must complete a health screening form before entering the building.
ANNUAL Student Information Update
It is important for all families to complete the annual data updates through the Parent Portal to ensure the staff at JDAL has the most updated information. Here is a guide for families to complete their annual updates online. Complete details can be found on gbaps.org/registration.
Parents without Parent Portal access can contact Central Registration at 920-448-2001 or the Help Desk at 920-448-2148. If email is an option, it would be preferred that parents email servicedesk@gbaps.org.
Thank you for your patience as continue to make plans that adhere to district safety guidelines. We recognize that you may not have all the information you need to make plans for your family.
