New K-12 standards and the challenges of remote teaching
Q2: Prior to the school closures, how were you engaging your students in Computer Science? If you hadn’t yet, what barriers kept you from starting? Feel free to share any pictures or documentation of your experiences.
Q3: As you’ve adapted to remote teaching, how have (or might) you include computer science? Which online resources are you using to adapt your CS lessons to at-home learning for all students?
Q4: In remote learning, teachers have had to reduce their content to the bare essentials of what students need in order to graduate. How does CS fit in that paradigm? Are you embedding CS more now than before the closure?
Q5: How have (or might) you adapt CS lessons for students who may lack consistent and reliable access to technology?
Q6: How are you adjusting, or could you adjust your CS instruction for your students with IEPs, and /or ELLs?
