SHERMAN STARS - WORKING TOGETHER
FOR A BRIGHT FUTURE
Principal's Message
Hi Sherman Families:
Sherman is celebrating Veteran's Day next Friday. This is one of those days that gives us an opportunity to bring history to life as so many of our students have a parent, grandparent, sibling or neighbor who is a Veteran or who is still serving. In fact, there are currently more than 22 million Veterans who have served in the United States Armed Forces! Our Veterans are our heroes and by celebrating this at school we can help our students to better understand the significance of both Veteran's Day and those who serve. Please review below for specifics regarding our Veteran's Day Celebration.
Have a great weekend everyone! I hope you all find some time to rest and enjoy one another's company after a busy week.
Sincerely,
Joel Dimock

Royal Credit Union’s All Student Challenge!
All Sherman students have an opportunity to take part in the Royal Credit Union All Student Challenge to learn more about symbols and designs in United States quarters. This year’s challenge features the 25 cent coin to help us continue our celebration of 25 years of the School $ense program!
Students will receive activity sheets in their classrooms and can return completed sheets to their teacher by November 9 to be entered in a drawing for a shopping sprees at the Royal School $ense prize table!! Students do NOT need to be a member of Royal to participate in the challenge – EVERYONE can join in on the fun!
Royal Credit Union School $ense wants to help your child create the habit of saving each week for life. Your Sherman Royal School $ense is open on Thursdays at lunch by the cafeteria to help your child get excited about saving and helping their school. Remember that Royal donates $250 to your school for every 500 deposits made.
If you want to know how to start saving at school with Royal School $ense,
Please contact Diana Rohlik at 715-855-5471 or diana.rohlik@rcu.org
