An email will be sent home October 15 alerting parents it is the midterm date of the trimester. At this time, teachers will have entered information to give an accurate picture of your child's proficiency. If you have any questions, please participate in fall conferences to speak with your child's teacher. A letter will be going home shortly with sign-up information.
Great group of third graders
All dressed up for Spirit Day!
And teachers, too!
Start with hello
As a participating school of Start with Hello week, the Student Council chose to do three activities that would promote connectedness between students. On Monday, each student and faculty member wore a name tag and were asked to say "Hello" to someone they might not know that day. On Tuesday, students and teachers were full of school spirit for "Favorite Book Character Day!" On Thursday, students were asked to change their seat at lunch and sit with people they don't normally sit with. Thank you Student Council for offering this program, we had fun participating in each activity!

The first Board of Education meeting was held on Thursday, September 20. On Tuesday, September 25, the Board of Education held a special meeting to discuss the proposed Window Project. The Window Project will begin construction during the Summer of 2019 and includes replacement of 39 separate windows. Two additional items, shades and air conditioning units, are also part of the project but will be funded separately. The proposed window project will go in front of the board for approval at their November meeting.
The next Board of Education meeting is on Wednesday, October 3. The meeting begins at 5:30 and the public are welcome to attend.
