General SOAR Information
The 2019-2020 Yearbook is still available at a reduced cost of $15.00! Don't let all the good times be forgotten.

A few reminders to ensure compliance with district and school safety procedures:
- Student drop off is at 7:30 am. Cars may only drop children off between the yellow poles in the front. No drop off is allowed on the grass or drop and walk up.
- Face coverings are available for students who need them or forgot theirs at home. We wear face coverings when we cannot socially distance at 6 feet.
- Only medically necessary items can be dropped off to the office for students during the school day.

Car Loop Procedures
Please view the video and read below on car loop procedures to ensure safety for all:
- Car tag must be in window of vehicle
- A photo id is required if you do not have a car tag
- No breaking in line
- The car loop is a No Cell Phone Zone
- Persons are not allowed to park and walk up to get their student. If you drove to the school you must go through the car loop line.

Children's Hunger Project weekend food program- If your child can benefit from a weekend prepackaged meal, please contact Mrs. Bernard at 321-259-3233 x43631 or bernard.carmen@brevardschools.org These packs go home in the student backpack each Friday.

Grade Level Announcements
Mrs. Shoff's Science Lab, for students in grades 3-6, have successfully completed their first lab of the school year! Ask your student about cookie buoyancy.
Pre-K kiddos are so excited to share their All About Me information with their new friends. The teachers would like to give a shout out to all the car riders- "Thank you for being on time, having car tags in the window, putting safety first, and having your child ready with their masks on."
Kindergarten teachers are very thankful for all of the school supplies and snacks that have been received. ABC Bootcamp is happening and the children love it! Teachers are introducing letters A-Z the first 26 days, then more in depth after that.
First grade has completed iReady Reading Diagnostic 1, but the best news is all students were able to independently log into the computer!
Second grade is integrating their reading curriculum with their science lesson. They will read Super Storms in the Journeys Reading Textbook which correlates with science curriculum-Severe Weather. The students are eager to learn about severe weather, and the staff hopes to not endure it!
