Buddy Classrooms Team Up For Learning!

Mrs. Badalamente's 2nd Grade & Mrs. Cairns' 5th Grade Team Up For Learning Fun!

The 5th graders in Mrs. Cairns class met with their Buddy Classroom, Mrs. Badalamente's 2nd graders, this week for some get-to-know-you activities, as well as some learning! The students were paired up and spent time together in class and outside. The goal is for all of our students to learn from each other, as well as to build positive relationships across grade levels. Check out some of the activities students were involved in!

Parent Help Needed - Return Completed Forms to Your Child's Teacher!

Classroom incentives are awarded for classes who return 100% of their needed school forms - A 'Bubble Party!' This week Mrs. Nawrocki's 6th graders, Mr. Kurmas and Mr. Weiner's 3rd graders earned theirs! Mrs. Badalamente's class is complete too, and they will hold their party on Monday!


This year students were asked to return the (yellow) Emergency Card - which we keep in our clinic to provide immediate information to our health aides/office staff when dealing with sick or injured children. The white form entitlted, "Forms Completed" is a checklist that parents sign stating that you've gone onto PowerSchool and reviewed/updated your family contact information as needed and checked off whether or not your family elected the Device Insurance option. Teachers have been sending home second copies as they are not being return. Please help your child and their class with this necessary beginning of the year task!

The Membership Toolkit app will be useful when purchasing things this year from our Beck Family Volunteers (BFV). Coming out next week is the registration for our annual TRUNK or TREAT - and everyone loves to participate in that. You will be able to complete the entire registration for TRUNK or TREAT on the Membership Toolkit app - once you've set it up!

Please Write Last Names on Student Belongings!

Every season our LOST & FOUND fills up! When I show students sweatshirts, sweaters, hats, ect . . . they always say, "that's not mine!" Please write the last name in every article of clothing that can be removed (jackets, sweatshirts, hoodies) and lunch boxes, so that we can swiftly return items to owners and they don't linger in our Lost and Found . . . It's a sad pile of things . . .
