Cultivating The Classroom
A Framework for Classroom Behavior Management
Strengthen Your Teaching Skills
Many teachers have a common story – whether trained through a traditional university track, an alternative certification cohort, or through online certification – addressing classroom behavior presents a significant challenge. Unfortunately, even several years into their career, many teachers feel underprepared and lack the tools and training to create an effective classroom management plan.
The Cultivating the Classroom course supports participants to explore six main components for classroom behavior systems planning:
- connections,
- skill-building,
- acknowledgment,
- correction,
- system support &
- data.
Through high-quality content, interactive activities, and personalized reflection, participants will design processes and strategies for each of the 6 components using the Emergent Tree Classroom Planning Template. By the completion of the course, participants have developed a comprehensive classroom plan to improve student outcomes and boost their confidence and classroom practice.
