Theodore Roosevelt Biography
Teddy Roosevelt was born October 27, 1858 in New York City. He had three other siblings. They homeschooled him because he was sick. When he was a teen he did weightlifting and boxing.He was governor before he came vice president. He was the youngest man to come president. He went to Harvard College his second year there his father died and it made him want to work harder. After Teddy graduate he got married to Alice Hathaway Lee.

Teddy Roosevelt liked the muckraker. He didn't want them telling people lies about factories and work places. Whenever he would read something that they put out for the public to read. He would send people to see if it is true. When people started to make stories about the meat factories. He sent people to the factories to see what is happening. He wanted to see if what they said was true. Teddy Roosevelt did thing his way and it was a success. He was a progressive president.
