Message from the Principal
MCE Community,
I hope this update finds all our Pirate families in good health and doing well. I want to thank our amazing MCE Community for a great first week of our #TeamSISD Remote Learning Academy. It was incredible to see all the pictures of our Pirates on Twitter. A BIG thank you to our Pirate Parents! You all play a vital role in our remote learning academies! I assure you that our teachers continue to work diligently to ensure our Pirates are successful at home.
Our district will be reducing the number of campuses offering meals beginning this week. Our campus will no longer be site. Both breakfast and lunch will now be offered from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Students do not need to be present in the vehicle for meal pick up. Parents will be required to have some type of identification for students. For more information please read the banner titled - Meal Pick-Up Update.
For students that do not have devices, our district is working hard to provide students with a device. We will update you with this information as it becomes available. Parents reach out to teachers if your family does not have any electronic devices.
Parents that have picked up packets. Packets are three weeks worth of lessons. Please read the lesson plans closely for dates at the top. Parents who did not have an opportunity to pick up remote learning lessons packets. They will be delivered this week by our transportation department. If you have questions, please reach out to your child's teacher. Thank you!
Thank you parents for your continuous partnership in your child's education! We hope you all continue to stay healthy and safe!
Sincerely,
Alicia Miranda
Principal
