About Keith Bendis
Keith is a freelance illustrator in New York whose work has been published in most of America’s leading magazines and newspapers including Time, Sports Illustrated, The Smithsonian, The New Yorker, The New York Times and Fortune. He has illustrated 8 books including: “Casey at the Bat” for Workman and “Quoth the Maven” by William Safire for Random House. His first children’s book, “Calvin Can’t Fly: The Story of a Bookworm Birdie” for Sterling was published in 2011. The sequel, “Calvin, Look Out! A Bookworm Birdie Gets Glasses” will be published in the Fall of 2014. Keith lives on a farm in Ancram, New York with his wife, Betsy, 2 Hereford bulls, 6 chickens one dog and a cat.
