Background
Michael Jordan was born on February 17, 1963, in Brooklyn, New York. He was the fourth of five children born to James and Deloris Jordan. Jordan always showed an interest in sports, as a junior in college at North Carolina University he dropped out and joined the NBA. He has been married twice and has five children.
