Mission Statement

The Waukesha North Athletic Booster Club is a charitable non-profit organization structured to support financially all participating athletic programs at Waukesha North High School.

The Booster Club is an organization comprised of active and involved parents whose main objective is to make a positive difference in the lives of our student athletes and to promote sportsmanship, responsibility, and enthusiasm amongst the student athletes as well as the development and enhancement of the athletic program. We will strive to assist the administration, coaches, and students with support, both financial and otherwise, through fundraising and volunteerism.

The Booster Club is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization as determined by the IRS. Contributions to the Waukesha North Booster Club are tax deductible.

Scheduling for 2016-17 is Upon Us!!!

Our students will begin scheduling very soon! The course selection guide is linked here. You can also find it on the SDW Website under the "parent" tab (the orange box, 5th line down). This is a great time to open up conversations about future planning and how high school courses can support career investigation.

Some of our elective teachers are promoting their courses through creative posters in the school (see below). Don't be afraid to reach out to teachers to ask questions about the classes that are offered at North.

Science Audit Survey

The District-wide Science Dept. Coordinator will be sending all parents a survey through Infinite Campus. The department would appreciate your input in order to be able to effectively address feedback around the Science Curriculum.

Graphic Arts Gets a New Machine

Mr. Bollmann has helped obtain a new DigiPlate 459e in the Graphics Lab. This allows a digital file to be directly printed to film. It is an impressive piece of equipment that will give our Graphic Arts I & II students (and, eventually, our Digital photography and Digital Design students) even more great hands-on experiences. Your student may want to consider an elective course in the CTE many opportunities!!

Scholarship Season in Here!!

Congrats to Lauren Bucci who was awarded a monetary prize and also had her essay published in the Teaching Today periodical. Her recognition prompted me to remind all senior parents that....

This is the time when students need to be applying for scholarships and awards. There are so many resources out there... Here is the link to the NHS Booklet for scholarships. If your child needs assistance in filling out applications, be sure to ask a faculty/staff member for help. As a former English teacher, I would be happy to help! Our kids are great...we want to see them recognized. AND, it would be nice to get families any financial assistance that might be available.

If your senior student does win an award (financial or citizenship), please have them report it to Mrs. Bralick in Student Services so they can be recognized at Senior Night in the spring.

Are you looking for an opportunity to support your community? Are you interested in volunteering? Does your child have service hours to complete? If you have a couple of hours to give, use the attachment below to apply. People who are 14 years of age or older are eligible (those who are younger will need an accompanying adult).
