Arrival and Dismissal Procedures
With your help, our arrival and dismissal will be safer and more efficient for everyone!
Walkers - WHO HAVE ADDRESSES THAT ARE WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE.
Walkers in Kindergarten through Second grade enter and exit the building by the Kindergarten rooms, door 8.
Walkers in Third and Fourth grades enter and exit through door 11. It's nearest to the Third and Fourth grade rooms.
Walkers in Fifth and Sixth grade will enter and exit nearest their classrooms which is door 5.
Students who live on Boydson, in front of the school, may walk out the front doors, #1.
TEACHERS WILL ADVISE MRS. GLASS WHO THE WALKERS ARE IN THEIR CLASSROOMS.
SHE WILL LOOK UP EACH STUDENTS ADDRESS. IF THEY ARE NOT WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE, THEY MAY NOT WALK HOME. PARENTS CAN PICK THEIR STUDENTS UP IN THE LOOP LINE.
Bus Riders
All bus riders will enter and exit through door #2 on Naomi Dr.
Loop Line
In order to maximize the safety and efficiency of the loop line we need 100% of our families to follow the following procedures:
- Please place the loop line sign on your windshield, or side door window. (These signs will be sent home with your child, during the first week of school.)
- We are asking parents to drop off and pick up their students by coming from Harvest to Ariel (Please do not use Luann!!) and turn RIGHT ONLY to enter the loop line.
- All students using the loop line will enter the building using door 5. We will have adults and Safety Patrol students to guide them to the correct door.
- Please make sure your child is prepared to exit your vehicle when you pull into the drop-off circle. Students should exit their vehicles quickly and parents should immediately continue out of the parking lot. Only use the loop line, please keep out of the bus loop.
