February 2023 Updates from Dr. Vancheri
The Shortest Month Has Flown By!
- Marc Parent
Thank you ERC Charities!
ERC Charities 1st Annual Gala was truly a night to remember! The NRESC and Second Home were recognized and awarded as one of the beneficiaries of the evening. Dr. Brad Haimowitz, Director of Special and Non-Public Services, gave a heartfelt speech honoring one of our Second Home families.
A portion of the proceeds will directly benefit Second Home through new sensory equipment. Interested in learning more about the supporters of Second Home? Visit the ERC Charities website for more information regarding their upcoming golf outing and the amazing impact of the organization.
February Happenings!
Media Specialists and Technology Interns Joining Our Team
In addition, in our efforts to assist partner school districts and municipalities with their basic technology needs, the NRESC is partnering with local high schools to establish a summer and weeknight internship program for tech-savvy students!
Changes in the Payroll Department
At some point in April, Mr. Gregory Barrington-Smith will be joining us after a long career working in school accounting and payroll, most recently at Manchester Regional High School.
Wellness Programs at Central Office
- Eleanor Brown
The NRESC Central Office is excited to offer monthly wellness courses in 2023. In February, a nutritionist visited the office to share best practices and words of wisdom. In the upcoming months, we look forward to hosting other individuals who can help us avoid becoming empty vessels.
