Dear D34 Families,
We are excited to invite you to the second annual Family Connect Night! Last year’s events were so popular – and so fun – and we can’t wait to bring families together again. Thank you to The Debra Gelfand Children’s Foundation for sponsoring these events.
They will be held on the following dates; please attend the event for your cluster(s)!
- Tuesday, April 18 at Henking for HE/HO students and families
- Thursday, April 20 at Lyon for LY/PR students and families
- Monday, April 24 at Westbrook for WB/GG students and families
- Tuesday, April 25 at Springman for SP/AT students and families
Family Connect Night is an opportunity for children and adults to connect with old friends and make new ones! There will be crafts, games and an engaging presentation on belonging, kindness and anti-bullying from Chris Falcon. Boxed meals from North Branch will be provided.
Please RSVP to let us know which event(s) you will attend, and how many members of your household are coming along for the fun. We have space for 125 at each event. We hope we can accommodate all families who wish to attend!
Interpretation in Spanish, Mongolian and Korean will be offered (but please let us know in advance if you wish to have this service). We will follow up before the event to confirm your attendance and get your family’s dinner order.

Explore D34 as a Great Place to Work!
Schools are the heart of a community. In Glenview, that 💙 beats strong thanks to the care, dedication and incredible talents of all D34 staff members, working together. Whatever their role, they make our schools the best they can be for students. In the process, they discover their own paths, build friendships – and have fun.
District 34 always seeks new staff members to join in on that fun. Here’s a look into the many reasons to Explore D34 as a great place to work.
If you or someone you know is looking for meaningful work in a supportive environment, please visit glenview34.org/explore. We currently have full- and part-time openings for:
- Teacher associates
- Substitute teachers
- Custodians
- Food service staff
Later in the spring, we will begin our search to fill any classroom teaching and other certified staff roles that are open for the 2023-2024 school year. Please share glenview34.org/explore (and #ExploreD34 on our social media channels) with anyone you know who should Explore D34!
Your Input on Your Child’s School: 5Essentials Survey
Dear District 34 Parents,
Have you taken the 5Essentials Parent Survey yet?
Your input on this statewide survey -- given to parents of all students throughout the state of Illinois -- allows us to help us improve our schools for our students.
Please click here to take the parent survey. We ask that you take the survey for each school in which you have a child by March 31, 2023.

Volunteer Opportunities
We have a lot of activities coming up for the Spring (like Teacher Appreciation, the Spring Benefit and more!) If you would like to volunteer your time, please fill out the form below!
