Exemplar Educators named for 2021-2022 school year
Northwest ISD announced its Teachers of the Year and honored the top educators and staff across the district at its annual Inspire Celebration on Thursday, April 7, showcasing the tremendous teaching talent and staff support throughout the district.
All 31 Northwest ISD schools named their Exemplar Educators of the Year, honoring the district’s top teachers by campus for the 2021-2022 academic year. Northwest ISD’s Exemplar Educators, seen at this link, were selected following a rigorous process on their campus that evaluated their leadership, motivation and effectiveness in the classroom. We are so proud of our Sendera Ranch Elementary Exemplar Teacher, Mrs. Bethany LeFlore.

Pre-K info now available, lottery application open to April 22
Northwest ISD’s pre-kindergarten program is now accepting enrollment for those who qualify for state-funded pre-K and applications for those who would like their child to take part in the district’s tuition-based program.
Families who meet eligibility requirements, seen at www.nisdtx.org/prek, for the state-funded pre-K program can now enroll their children to take part in pre-K in 2022-2023. Because of limited class size, Northwest ISD’s tuition-based program is selected through a lottery system. Lottery applications may be submitted now through 5 p.m. on April 22. Tuition-based pre-K is a half-day program.
Students enrolled in Northwest ISD's pre-K program will establish positive relationships with teachers and peers; build vocabulary knowledge through hands-on experiences; and participate in a variety of educational activities. All students must be 4 years old by September 1, 2022.
Online enrollment for 2022-2023 now open
Online enrollment is now open for the 2022-2023 school year, and families can complete an easy 1-2-3 process for returning students to quickly register their children for next school year.
Enrollment is now open for all children – pre-kindergarten and up – whether they are currently enrolled, returning to the district after leaving or brand new to Northwest ISD. For families of currently enrolled students who will return next year, the process will take a matter of a few minutes with a quick, three-step process in Home Access Center. Learn more about the documents you’ll need to enroll, or get the process started at www.nisdtx.org/enroll.
