School History
In September, 1891, "Nebraska Normal College" was founded, and on April 6, 1909, Nebraska bought the college and it became "Nebraska State Normal College". In 1910, people started to use the label "Wayne State" but it wasn't until 1963 that it officially became "Wayne State College".
The Major, Elementary Education, offers a Bachelor's Degree in science and a Bachelor's Degree in art. I want to study and take classes in the Major, Elementary Education, because I want to get a career in teaching either the third or the fourth grade.
High School
In High School, there are key classes you should take to ensure yourself that you are ready to go to college. Some of these classes include English Literature I, English Composition, Trigonometry, Calculus, Anatomy & Physiology, Advanced Biology, Psychology, Agriculture Education III, and Agriculture Education IV.
