Dear Parents,
You should have received earlier today, a confirmation of what you had selected for your child when we return to in-person learning. A return to in-person learning is a real possibility with the way COVID numbers are falling. Our target date at this time is March 22nd. Please see that email for confirmation of what you selected and a link to change that selection if you choose. Below, you will find information regarding our parent info meetings for this Thursday about our plan.
We thank you for your ongoing support and patience as we navigate this crazy time in education.
Sincerely,
Michele Krantz, principal
Schedule for the Week of March 1st

La Mesa Not-so-Live
Personal Device Policy at La Mesa
Because many students will likely bring a personal laptop type device, that part of the policy is obviously not relevant.
As a reminder, cell phones must be turned off and placed in backpacks before entering the campus. They may not be in pockets. Students can access their phones again after they exit the main gate at the end of the school day. We have phones in all classrooms and in the office for students to access as needed.
You can access the policy HERE
We also have created a FAQ that may answer some of the questions you have. You can access that HERE.
Return to In-Person Learning Information Meetings
We will be holding informational meetings on Thursday, March 4th for parents regarding our plan for the possible return to in-person learning. You can choose between the 10:00 am or 6:30 pm meetings. Both meetings will use the following link:

Mrs. Krantz will be the Presenter for this Week's DFY Local Leadership League
DFY in SCV is hosting another edition of Local Leadership League for students on Wednesday, March 3 at 4:00pm. Our presenter this week is principal of La Mesa Junior High School, Michele Krantz. Principal Krantz is known for being creative when creating programs that will help her students and school. She is a forward-thinker who motivates students to become leaders on and off of the La Mesa campus.
Principal Krantz will give a short presentation to the students with tips on how to become more active leaders. At the end of the presentation, there will be a Q&A session. You will be able to ask Mrs. Krantz any questions that you have. At the end of the Q&A session, we will be raffling off an In N Out gift card!
All junior high and high school students are welcome to join the event. We look forward to seeing you all there!
