Algal Biofuels
yes, plants are gasoline go grab an apple.
Advantages of Algal Biofuels
Well, to start We don't use algae a lot so it would make sense to use it for something. Algae produces biodiesel and is less harmful that actual gasoline and oil. Algae can also use waste water and gas as nutrients so it sucks up harmful stuff in water and reproduces, while giving people some of the harmful stuff it eats. It is like a circle, we give algae waste gas and it gives us good gas.
Disadvantages
Algae need warmth and sunlight to photosynthesis and grow. in the UK if we rely upon natural sunlight we may be limited in how much algae we can grow. Open ponds are cheap method of production but it means you don't have a controlled environment that provides optimum growing conditions
