Habitat
- Lives in kelp forests.
- Found in shallow areas of the water, usually along a coast with strong waves.
- Lives from the low tide zone.

- Spikes for mobilization and protection from predators.

How does it eat?
- Mouth is setup underneath its body.
- Graze along the kelp forest.
- Sea urchins eat plant and animal matter, including kelp, decaying matter, algae, dead fish, sponges, mussels, and barnacles.
Daily Changes
- Sea urchin is in the low tide zone, it is rarely exposed, therefore is never has desiccation problems.
