Egg Harbor Township High School
WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 27, 2020
A Message From Our Principal
Greetings to all!
Here we are already starting October and great things are happening around us. Fall is in the air and nights are crisp. Athletics are starting their season and Girls Tennis is rocking it with some great wins. Soccer, Field Hockey and Football/Cheerleading/Band get underway with their first games on Saturday, October 3. Cross Country has their first meet on Monday. Let’s go Eagles!
Seems our students and teachers have settled in to their schedules and daily meetings. All have seen the hybrid schedule that we will start when we are back to school on October 27 with Monday October 26 being the first virtual day of the hybrid schedule. Students will know shortly if they will be an A or a B student.
If you have a student that is a senior and would like to drive to school during this pandemic time, please see the High School web page for more information. Remember it is just for the time we are in this pandemic. Should we at some point switch to everyone back in school, then obviously there is not enough parking and only the senior ambassadors and the specific academies will continue to drive.
Also, there will be information out by Monday October 5 for anyone who missed their senior pictures. Barksdale has made some dates to help get these senior pictures completed. You may also see them on the sidelines during athletic events taking pictures for the yearbook.
Let’s continue to engage our students in their learning. Teachers are doing an awesome job with relevant lessons and students are showing up to their classes and working hard. Keep the momentum going. Have an awesome weekend! Get out and get moving in this beautiful weather.
Until next week, stay safe, be well, continue to dream of the possibilities ahead of us, be happy and smile at someone! #ehtpride #ehtstrong #goeagles

STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT
Students of the Week
STUDENTS: Kimberly Calix Recarte & Ashley Salas Perez
NOMINATED BY: Mrs. Hartman
I have a student in class who is a native Spanish speaker and speaks very little English. In the Google Meet class, it was very difficult for her to communicate with me. Ashley and Kim quickly jumped in to translate for the student and helped her understand the assignment. I am extremely grateful for their help.
