Happy Mothers Day! We wish all the mothers out there a very happy Mothers Day and thank you all for your incredible contributions to our students, our families, our community, and our world.

This week we begin our CAASPP State Testing, which will occur on select days during morning testing periods over the next few weeks. 6th and 7th grade students will test on Tuesday and Wednesday this week, and 8th graders will test on Thursday and Friday this week. Students will take online tests in English Language Arts, Math, and Science (8th grade only).

Students will need their Chromebooks every day for their tests. To be sure your Chromebook is fully charged each day, please make sure to log out and choose SHUT DOWN on your Chromebooks each night, then plug them in to charge. Please also make sure your students are well rested, eat their breakfast, arrive on time, and ready to give their best effort.

8th grade students will return their textbooks this week. All 8th grade students need to return all textbooks to the library on the dates listed below, please contact your teachers or Ms. Versaci in the library if you have questions. 6th and 7th grade students will return textbooks in the coming weeks.

Tues, May 10 8th grade textbook return - Silver Village: Davis, Stavis, Magone

Wed, May 11 8th grade textbook return - Maroon Village: Barrett, Degtyarev, Perez

Lastly, our PTA would love parent input for the Honorary Service Awards this year. Nominations are due by this Tuesday, May 10th. Please see this message for full information: PTA Honorary Service Award Nominations

Last week we had 0 individuals at our school who tested positive for COVID-19. Staff members and students who may have come into close contact with the individual(s) have already received a separate communication from school staff. Students who are absent due to a COVID related situation should refer to our Student Quarantine Instructions to stay up to date with their classwork.
