Middletown Elementary School
Community Newsletter for January 25, 2024
MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Term 3 has begun and we are beginning to plan for our upcoming Valentines Day Parties on February 15th. Contributions may be made on through this link or on School Cash to help the school costs for crafts, a game, supplies and snacks. Any additional funds will be used for a future school-wide event. We appreciate your help in making the day special.
Tonight, January 25 there will be a Middletown Colocated ES/MS Community Meeting at MHS Cafeteria from 6-7:30. All community members are welcome to attend and participate in the discussions regarding the initial concept site plan.
Smart Devices at MES
As we approach Term 3 we would like to review our smart device expectations here at MES. All devices are to be powered off or put into airplane mode during academic day. This is important to ensure a productive school day with minimal distractions. In case of emergencies students may use classroom telephones or families may call the front office for assistance.
If expectations are not being met by the student they will receive:
First Offense is a warning.
Second Offense the device is taken to the office and student can pick up by end of school day.
Third Offense the device is taken to the office and parent must be picked up by end of school day.
Calendar
January 31 Report Cards Issued
February 16 2 hour early dismissal
February 19 President's Day, School & Offices Closed
Thanks to the PTA, MES staff, Mrs. Pasternak and Mrs. Peyton for supporting this competition!
