Housing News
We have been very busy over the last couple of months. October we will be breaking ground on house# 47 on Snuggs St. in Albemarle. Get your hammers and nails ready to start building! We are looking forward to a productive start and moving into Montgomery County. Stay tuned for more updates!
Richardson Family Note Burning Ceremony
A note burning ceremony was held on June 23rd at the First Lutheran Church in Albemarle. Many family and friends came to show their support for the Richardson family. The Richardson family is the 6th family to pay off their mortgage!
McCauley Family Home Dedication
A home dedication ceremony was held on July 12th at 6:00pm on 103 Grant St. The McCauley family has worked hard over the past 6 months to complete their sweat equity hours.
Kearns Family Home Dedication
A dedication ceremony for home #46 on July 18th at 2:00pm. The Kearns family was excited and thankful for the many volunteers to help make her dream come true.
Fundraising News
In looking at expansion and restructuring our goals the fundraising committee looked at fundraising opportunities and decided to place the Women Build Luncheon on hold this year however, we have many who made financial pledges. The 6th Annual Golf Tournament was a wonderful success bring in $11,000. The Golf Tournament was held at Old North State Club in New London.
