Explore Your Purpose campus wide Career Fair May 18th
Doerre Intermediate is planning a day where every student will explore the possibility of a variety of careers. Explore Your Purpose is a school-wide career day and will be Friday, May 18, 2018. We would love to add your experience to this amazing day. Presenters will speak with small groups of students (25-30) for 6 sessions during the day. Each session is 45 minutes long, this will allow for 10-15 minutes of question and answer time from the students. We would love if you could stay the whole day, but we do have half day sessions open.
If you know of someone interested in presenting, please complete the google form below and submit. They will be contacted later this week with more information.
Thank you for your support of our students.

Relationship Driven: #KeepKleinSafe as we Keep Doerre Safe
Run, Hide, Fight Drill Coming May 3rd: We have a Run/Hide/Fight video and a PowerPoint to accompany it posted here in the Google Drive. Teachers should include these in their lesson plans throughout the day May 2nd, then you will be given a scenario to discuss with your classes. You should review the OODA (Observe, Orient, Decide, Act) loop with each class and create a class plan of action based on that scenario. The rest of that day, each class will review the scenario for 5-10-15 minutes, as it relates to that classroom’s proximity to the “event.”
The following day, May 3rd, we will run the simulation.
We will continue to readdress each part of our emergency response cycle to make sure our students and staff are prepared in case of emergency.
