Ernest Hemingway

Accomplishments
Hemingway is more known for his earlier works, including For Whom the Bell Tolls and The Old Man and the Sea. He went on to win the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1954 as well as a Pulitzer prize in 1953. Many of his writings are considered classics in American Literature.
Life in Paris
Hemingway arrived in Paris in 1921 where he met numerous influential writers and painters, including Ezra Pound, Gertrude Stein, and Pablo Picasso. Hemingway wrote some of his greatest works while in Paris and lived there until 1928 when he moved back to the United States with his second wife.
