Cotton Mather (1663-1728)
- Born February 12th, 1663
- Cotton's father was an admired political leader (South Church minister in Boston)
- Went to Harvard at the age of 12
- At 18, recieved his M.A.
- Recognized as one of the most influential Puritan ministers of his day
- Died on February 13th, 1728 at he age of 66
- By the end of his life, he had published over 400 pieces
