Counseling Small Groups
Students may participate in small group counseling throughout the year in our lunch bunch groups or our counseling workshops. Lunch bunch groups will meet during your student’s lunch time with other students. During these groups we will be getting to know one another and working on social emotional competence skills. These skills include self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills and responsible decision making.
Additionally, counselors work with students in small group workshops. These small groups support skills that we teach in our classroom lessons and social emotional skills. We’ll cover topics such as friendship, anxiety and test taking in these workshops. If you have questions about small group counseling, please contact Mrs. Cardenas (K,1 Counselor) or Mrs. McGhee (2-4 Counselor).
If you would like to request that your student visit with their counselor, please use the QR code to make a referral.
