Book of the Month - "Squirrels Leap, Squirrels Sleep"
Bare winter branches offer the perfect backdrop to admire our nimble neighborhood friends, the squirrels. April Pulley Sayre's rhyming text introduces four types of squirrels climbing, eating, frolicking, and more, while the back of the book brims with information.
Steve Jenkins' marvelous cut-paper illustrations capture the joyful energy of the animal acrobats you can watch out your window. Stop by whenever we are open to explore this simple, lyrical story, chosen just for you!
