College Acceptance and SCHOLARSHIP MONEY

If you have been accepted to a college or enlisted into the military, please bring those papers to Mrs. Rogers in the Counseling & Advisement Office so you can be recognized. Also, if you have been awarded scholarship money, bring the award inform to Mrs. Rogers. If you do not bring the information to Mrs. Rogers, you will not be recognized.

College Goal SC

Get the college financial aid assistance you’re looking for at College Goal SC at the MTC Airport Campus, February 20 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. At this event, you can receive help completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the school of your choice.

Current and potential students of any college, including seniors from any area high school, are encouraged to attend.

BMW Scholars Program

  • The Scholars Program will provide work experience and training for students in manufacturing areas of study such as Mechatronics, Maintenance Technology, Automotive, Machine Tool, Robotics, Logistics, Production Technology and other related degrees.
  • The students also receive tuition assistance while working part-time hours at BMW Manufacturing Co. Partner colleges include Greenville Technical College, Spartanburg Community College, and Tri County Technical College.
  • The BMW Scholars Team will begin recruiting for the August 2016 Scholars class very soon.
  • The posting for the application will be on the BMW website

College Visit Procedures

Seniors are allowed two excused days for college visits (1 in the fall and 1 in the spring). When you visit the college, be sure to ask the visitor's office at the college for a letter/form stating you were there that day. Turn that letter/form into attendance at PHS.
