K-2 Device Distribution Schedule : Monday, May 4th
On Monday, May 4th we will have a device distribution for families who have completed the device check out form. Here is the schedule:
- Kindergarten : 8:00am - 8:45am
- 1st Grade : 8:45am - 9:30am
- 2nd Grade: 9:30am - 10:15am

Kick Cabin Fever to the Curb

Please see below for your daily tips and fun activities to stay happy, healthy and emotionally fit while our students learn from home! We are encouraging 100% of our families to get involved in the American Heart Association’s Kick Cabin Fever to the Curb as part of our school’s annual Kids Heart Challenge!
And remember, any student that registers will be invited to a special Zoom Assembly to watch Mr. Ramsey take the Human Ice Cream Sundae Challenge (as mentioned above)! Today’s Theme is Connect the Dots!

A Message from NLMUSD Nutrition Services
Now through Wednesday, May 27th, we will be providing five breakfast and lunch meals weekly on Wednesdays only, for our Norwalk-La Mirada children, 1-18 years of age, at the following locations:
Los Coyotes Middle School – 14640 Mercado Ave, La Mirada
NLMUSD - Central Kitchen – 12244 Rosecrans Ave., Norwalk
9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
Meal Pick-up Instructions
Directions for drivers will be provided at the sites. When at the beginning of the line, the parent or student will exit the car and stand 6 feet from the table. Indicate how many children are in the household and provide the student ID number(s) and/or name(s). The Nutrition Services team member will gather your food and place it on the table or cart. At that time, you may step forward and place the bags of food in a box that you bring. Gather the food quickly and exit promptly.
Social distancing is required. Please stay 6 feet from others. If you are sick, have a temperature, cough or are sneezing, please stay home.
Food safety instructions will be provided. The NLMUSD is not responsible for food once it leaves the property.
Thank you for your patience as we adjust to a new distribution method. Updates will be posted on www.yourchew.com.
