MAVERICK MESSENGER
Your weekly Campus News
The Principal's Pen
- Thank you for your diligence this first 4 weeks. The Admin team is busy ensuring that you are able to provide engaging instruction in your classrooms. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do to help.
- Thank you for submitting your campus goals into Strive. It is evident that clear and compelling thought went into the development of your goals. I noticed that many of you referenced our campus goals as one of your goals, AWESOME!
- Increase or maintain student attendance to 96%.
- Increase student engagement in classrooms and across the campus.
- Integrate Literacy strategies across all content areas.
- I truly enjoyed viewing all of the pictures that you posted on twitter of the many acts of service that you performed this past weekend for The Day! KUDOS and a BIG THANK YOU to you and your organizations. Gentle reminder, this will be a yearly activity across AISD. We will have "The Day" each year on the second Saturday in September. So start planning your service projects now.

If you feel that your momentum is fading, take a few moments to read this interesting take from George Couros on some tips on how to maintain the first day of school excitement that we had just 4 weeks ago.
