SCHOOL NOTICES
Home & School Association
The Home & School Association will be hosting the “Sugar Plum Shop” on Friday, December 9th. All profits from the Sugar Plum Shop will be used to support social events for our students.
Please send the following to school no later than Thursday, December 8th, 2016 to your child’s teacher:
1. List of names of who to buy gifts for and their age (e.g. Gemma- baby sister 3 years). Please note that gifts should be purchased for immediate family to begin. If there are extra gifts to purchase at the end students will be allowed to buy more.
2. Gift tags – pre-written in order for your child to match tags to the gifts once they are wrapped.
3. Money in a clearly named zip lock bag. Gifts will be no more than $10.00. It is helpful if you could send in smaller bills ($20/$10/$5/$2).
4. A labeled shopping bag/recycle bag to transport the gifts home in.
If you have any donations for the Sugar Plum Shop, please send them in to school. These could include:
- All those new or very gently used gift items that you would like to receive as that special Christmas present from your child: candles, books, jewelry, toys, collectibles, promotional items, knick-knacks, coffee mugs, bath items, etc.
- Wrapping supplies-ribbons, bows, paper, Christmas bags and tape.
If you would like to assist in the shop (personal shopper, gift wrapper, etc) please contact Juanita Blee at jblee@logic.bm.

Incoming Student Teachers for the Spring Term
MSA will be hosting three student teachers from the University of Alberta during our Spring Term of 2017. They will arrive in February, the weekend of the 18th, until the first weekend of May. We would like to try and secure host accommodations for them as early as possible for the duration of their stay. They are looking to rent out a bedroom in a home and they will be able to pay $100 a week. Accommodations close to public transport and amenities would be ideal. If you are willing and able to assist with housing one of the student teachers while they are here can you please contact Mrs. Kellie Barbosa at kbarbosa@msa.bm. Thank you to anyone who can assist.
