Hoping for Change
We are hoping our nation can grow and heal, in so many ways. This song was written in the 60's, an iconic time in the history of our nation and I believe the lyrics are just as relevant today. "There have been times that I thought I couldn't last for long, But now I think I'm able to carry on. It's been a long, a long time coming, But I know a change is gonna come, oh yes it will." Hold on to that. Whether you feel it or not, you have gained a type of resilience that only comes from weathering a fierce storm. Feelings are temporary, they will ebb and flow, but rest in knowing you are now stronger than you know.
Love and hugs to all,
Mrs. E
