CyberBullying
Cyberbullying is one of the biggest menaces to the teens of North America today. Since the explosion of technology, cyberbullying has become increasingly important and has grown to a huge matter. This post is to just raise awareness about the matter and how you can stop it.
How to Stop it
Cyber Bullying can happen in any sort of network worldwide. Whether it is text messaging, facebook, Instagram, or cellular service. These systems connect millions of people worldwide so it means that almost anybody can bully almost anybody. Unfortunately, the people who cyber bully the most are the younger generation of teens. Research shows that 83% of all adolescents in North America have cellphones and use them daily. There have been plenty of reports of suicidal teens all around the nation because of constant harassment online. So if all these students are connected electronically, it makes it a perfect situiation for cyberbullying to occur. But you don't have to be that person.
Simple things really help. Stuff like reporting content, sticking up for the person being harassed, have caution about what you post, give the harassed emotional support, and flag explicit content and images. If you are the one being bullied, never forget to tell an adult, then delete the content sent to you
