Community Supported Agriculture

Benefits of CSA

  • Brings generations together- Farmers pass their land onto their children and have to teach them how to make the best use of the land.
  • Understanding of the seasons- Farmers and buyers both have to understand how the weather affects what can grow in what season.
  • Fresh, local grown produce- This kind of farming contains little to no pesticides, so it is much healthier than that bought at the supermarket.
  • Build a relationship with the farmers- The farmers will give the consumers more information about how the vegetables are grown.
