HERE IS HOW IT WORKS
The act of giving can seem so complicated. Making holiday lists, navigating crowded shopping malls and e-commerce sites during the busiest time of the year. Gift-wrapping. Delivery. Even giving to charities can be confusing: How do you pick the right cause? How much should you give? But giving does not have to be so difficult. In fact, it can be the easiest thing you will do in a day. How much effort does it take to give, say, a compliment? And how much does it cost to give a hand to someone in need? How would you feel if a total stranger gave you the biggest smile you’ve seen all week – and for no other reason than to make you smile?
This month let us do 12 Acts of Kindness. Together we can learn easy ways to give to others that won’t impact our holiday budget or your energy level. Let's light others up and bring them more joy than ever before. Starting Monday, December 7, let's bring an act of kindness to others every day until Tuesday, December 22.
Day 1~Monday, December 7
MEET & GREET
Say, "Good morning"
"Good afternoon"
or maybe even
"Have a great day"
to as many people as you can.
Day 2~Tuesday, December 8
MAKE A NEW FRIEND
In this time of social distancing
there are some that may be in isolation.
Introduce yourself to someone new
Friends will get us through!
Day 3~Wednesday, December 9
WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT
Take the time to encourage someone today.
"Way to go..."
"You have been doing a good job"
Get personal with it
Day 4~Thursday, December 10
GIVE THANKS
Take the time to thank others,
especially those that don't hear it often.
Giving thanks
can change an entire
situation and mood!
Day 5~ Friday, December 11
SPEND THE TIME
With the business and social distancing this season,
take the time to learn something new about someone.
People are doing great things this season.
Take the time to learn and maybe do something new!
Day 6~Monday, December 14
GIVE A COMPLIMENT
It is always nice to hear pleasantries
Give as many compliments as you can.
Remember to give some to yourself as well!

SPREAD SOME CHEER
'Tis the season!

Share a smile
Tell a joke~good or bad
Make someone else laugh

THE GIFT OF KINDNESS
Share a story!
Tell a story to someone about an act of kindness you received.
Encourage someone to share an act of kindness that they have received.
