Dear Mission Families,
Due to the growing number of COVID-19 cases in San Diego County, we are cancelling our August 13 PTO Welcome Back to School Family Event and postponing the fundraiser until further notice. Every decision we make is centered around the safety and well-being of our students in preparation to a full in-person school opening. We are looking forward to welcoming all students on Monday, August 16. Next week you will be receiving our district's return to school COVID guidelines; in addition, I will be sending a back-to-school informational video.
Below is the link to Mission's 2021-22 Parent/Caregiver Handbook; the handbook does not include COVID guidelines because COVID guidelines may change throughout this school year. COVID guidelines will be shared in our newsletters and will be posted in our district and school websites.
Class lists will be posted on the parent portal Friday by 3:00pm to view your student's teacher.
Data Confirmation and Registration
The Data Confirmation window for all students is now open. To register your student, please complete your data confirmation in your Aeries Parent Portal account. For those new to OUSD, you will have the opportunity to upload documents, including proof of immunization. Additionally, you can submit hard copies of these documents directly at our office. If you need help with data confirmation or registration, please contact our office at 760-966-8700.

Mission Elementary Literacy Fundraiser at dd's Discounts
Our school was selected to be the beneficiary of dd's DISCOUNTS Youth Literacy Fundraiser. This fundraiser will provide new books for our school and is taking place now through August 22nd. To participate all you do is make your donation for Mission School at dd's Discounts located at 1527 Mission Avenues, Suite A, Oceanside. Also please help us by sharing this information with your friends and family.
