The week students in CTE Floral Design have been focusing on holiday decor. In the floral industry, some floral retailers provide a service for home decor during the holidays. Designers go to homes and decorate Christmas trees, garlands for stairways, mantels the list is endless. This week they created digital mock ups of Christmas trees as if a client was requesting a sample of how they would decorate a tree. They put their skills to work from learning the principles and elements of design. Others have brought in mugs to create miniature trees and a few of my other students with Ms. Little had decorated a tree in class.
