Hi, my name is Monica Dimas. I was born in California but moved to Colorado at a very young age. I was raised in a big family which whom I love to spend time with.

During my education career I have taught a dual language first grade class primarily in Spanish, and preschool for the past three years. I have a Masters in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education, which I completed in December of 2020.

I am passionate about supporting all my students and creating an environment in which all feel welcome and supported not only to do their best, but also to take risks and become leaders of their own learning.

Welcome to Padilla. My name is Jane Johnson, I am a Colorado native. My Husband, Kip and I live on a small acreage North of Hudson where we raise showpigs for 4-H and FFA families. Our 4 children Stacie, Jamie, Kenzie, and Jake have been a large part of this operation. I also enjoy having a "few" chickens running around.

My educational career has largely consisted of being a Speech Language Pathologist for 17 years. I am also proud of the experience I have teaching Special Education, Reading Intervention, Pre-School, 4th grade and Kindergarten. I am so excited to be a part of the first grade team and getting back to my Niche of teaching students how to read. I am greatly rewarded by my students when they are just starting to learn to become readers, writers and mathematicians and seeing the amount of growth they are able to show at the end of the year.

Education is my passion. I am so excited to be a part of Padilla Elementary. It is my goal to create an exciting learning environment where teachers and students feel safe to show their courage and never stop learning.
