Why Do We Need This Biome???
We need this biome because there are many amazing agricuulture regions that can only grow in there soil (fertile soil.) Mny of the animals that live in the Decideous forest have adapted to the cold winters and hibernate/migrate during the winter. Also the tree leaves change color every season which can't happen in any biome.
How Do Humans Affect This Biome???
We affect this biome in many ways, some are good and some are bad/not so good. We cut down many trees for things like paper, and things that in my opinion can be fixed with technology. By cutting down so many trees we are taking away out oxogen and also killing plant life which harms animal shelters. We also pollute A LOT! When you go to the beach or a local park and you leave a paper cup lying around it will eventually either be eaten by an animal and that animal will die or will make itself way to the ocean where there is a ton of wildlife.
How Do Humans Protect This Biome???
We can protect this biome in many ways but sometimes we get a little too lazy. We mostly have little groups that go and pick up trash localy. We also have trash cans around us so you can be a helper by just throwong away things that are harmful to the earth. Instead of cutting down trees we can plant more trees:)
This Biome is Known for???
In this beautiful biome some trees such as the Oak trees leaves change different colors every season. Every winter the leaves fall off the trees and it starts all over again. This biome also has five zones...
#1: Tree Stratum: Trees like the Oak, Beech, Maple, and Sweet gum trees in heights that vary from 60-100 feet tall.
#2: The small tree and Sapling: Contains young and short trees
#3: Shrub Zone: Rhododendrons, Azaleas, and also Huckleberry's belong in this zone.
#4: Herb Zone: Short plants such as Herbal plants/ trees.
#5: Ground Zone: Lichen, mosses, and also other true mosses.

Interesting Facts...
#1: Animals living in the Deciduous Forest must adjust to cold winters by Hybernating and Migrating to keep warm or they can be active and adapt to the weather.
#2: During winter time plants create a sugar solution to help survive during the cold winters.

What's it Like in the Deciduous Forest???
In the Deciduous Forest its cold in the winter and warmish in the summer. With an average of 50 degrees the animals and plant life is good and unique with different ways of survivale. If I went to this biome i would be very interested in the weather because of how the summer is. Also how the animals survive. By the pictures I saw this biome looks very pretty with all the colorful flowers. I wonder how many people live there and what kinds of homes they live in?
