Xello Part 4: Connecting Career Interests with College

Mrs. Marcotte shows us how we can use our career interests, skills, and interests to find the right college campus and major for us!

You can use Xello to search colleges based on a whole bunch of criteria.

Xello Part 4: Careers and Colleges

What can I do as a middle schooler to prepare for college?

1. Start thinking about post-high school options: community college, 4-year college, vocational training school, military, etc.

2. Expand your horizons of what is out there through job shadowing opportunities, volunteering, interviewing someone in a field of interest, etc.

3. Map out what education level, degree, and skills, maybe be needed to enter into a chosen career.
